the text: I sometimes get lost in youtube videos of slam poetry jams for hours at a time

* The video is typical for the genre of slam poetry in how the performer speaks and does hard gestures that add to the content of the poem

* The content of the poem is atypical for the genre because they tend to be about social/controversial issues and this poem is less serious

* It initially address the struggle of being an introvert but turns into a way for the speak to say "I love You"
