What research to include and how to include it in a way that still allows the paper to flow.
Is the research credible?
As Mat says “peer reviewed//academic journals” may have their flaws, double check to make sure that the information is credible

Biased research – looking up info to support what he already believed
Some of the crazy reports made were actually true – 1,000 women in Germany being assaulted around the time of New Years
Proper statistics were used in the wrong context – over 400,000 crimes committed by migrants in 2015 included the crime of crossing the boarded which only migrants can do; when that crime is subtracted the crimes rates were constant with the previous year
